TraceBack collects several categories of personal information to deliver our services. Account and identity data includes your name, email address, username, password, professional credentials (for clinicians), practice or organisation details, and role type such as patient, clinician, or carer. Health and clinical data encompasses symptom logs and module responses, medication entries and adherence records, side effects and interaction reports, condition-specific tracking data across areas including mental health, women's health, and cardiovascular health, as well as emergency summaries. We also collect usage and analytics data comprising session timestamps and duration, interaction logs and feature usage, alert engagement rates, and module completion data. Device and technical data includes your device type and operating system, IP address, browser type, and geolocation where enabled for regional compliance purposes. Payment data, which is processed via our payment provider Stripe, includes billing details for practice subscriptions and transaction records.
The Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) (Privacy Act) defines types of information, including Personal Information and Sensitive Information.

If you have a complaint concerning the manner in which we maintain the privacy of your Personal Information, please contact us as on the contact details set out at the bottom of this policy. All complaints will be considered by Chloe Mombeshora and we may seek further information from you to clarify your concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you, take appropriate steps to rectify the problem. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may refer the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 7 business days and provide you with a reference number. Our privacy team will investigate your complaint and maintain detailed records of all communications and findings. We aim to resolve all privacy complaints within 28 business days. If additional time is required, we will notify you in writing. All complaint documentation will be retained for 12 months following resolution. If the matter requires escalation, our Privacy Officer will personally review your case within 28 business days of the escalation request.
Your Personal Information will not be disclosed to recipients outside Australia unless you expressly request us to do so. If you request us to transfer your Personal Information to an overseas recipient, the overseas recipient will not be required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and we will not be liable for any mishandling of your information in such circumstances.
